Stripe Connect is the enterprise-grade payout system SitSignal uses to send earnings to your bank account and reliably support marketplace tax workflows. It's how your payment gets from the client to you.

When a client books with you, they pay through Stripe Payments (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). After the booking is complete, your earnings (minus the platform fee) are deposited to your connected bank via Stripe Connect within 2–7 business days.

No. Sensitive identity and payout information is securely processed and stored by Stripe. SitSignal only receives a verification token and account status to activate your profile.

No. Because structured, accountable pet care requires profound trust, identity verification is strictly required before any sitter can accept bookings.

Standard sitters pay a 12% platform fee. Partnered sitters pay a 9% platform fee. These fees cover payment processing, customer support, and marketplace tools.

If you get stuck during onboarding or ID verification, don't worry. Stripe occasionally reviews submissions manually, but if it looks stuck after 24 hours, reach out.
